Pocket Book Project ‘24 - A poetry project that came about from the latest full moon buzz - 3x2in handmade ‘pocket books’ printed on linen based paper - each consisting of 5 poems of mine.
These poems come to me like mini mantras - conceptualization of life’s dooms and blooms. If you come across a pocket book - do as it says - put it in your pocket and pull it out when you need a moment of contemplation. When it’s job is done - pass it along - whether at your usual coffee shop or in a friends hand - for them to carry around in their pocket.
There will be various volumes of the pocket book - each set is labeled with the volume. Each volume will consist of 5 different poems - some poems you might have seen or heard me read aloud- some have not seen the light of day outside my phone notes.
This is just a fun brain project that came about as I wait a few months to see if I won a few indie publisher contests in hopes of publishing a full book of poetry. Until then, my clouds - you get this
